About Sanne Brouwer:
Sanne Brouwer is a Dutch animator, illustrator and visual developer based in Utrecht. She graduated from HKU (Utrecht University of the Arts) in 2021, and makes up 1/9th of Kat van Huis Collective, a young and fresh animation studio in Utrecht.
Artist Statement:
"In my films, I translate internal mental workings into visual narratives using a mix of analogue and digital techniques, approachable character art and rich, harmonious colours and compositions. My work often has an otherworldly element and a gentle, safe ambience to it. The films I make aim to engross the viewer and make them think about life."
